I remember Bill still had Dinah in the mid 1950s. She must have been at least 35. The last of the Strachan work horses [Jim] wandered freely all over the island for years after he was retired. I found his last resting place near sandpiper beach in the early 60s when i was doing some fencing for Carl Martini.
