Oak Street Bridge…
…opened in 1957-Yes, that’s Wackie Bennett on stage. Oak Street Bridge. Traffic moved to this bridge causing the business part of Marpole (where the old bridge was) to slowly disintegrate.
Injury
1957-On the ride to the Dam we discovered this dog . Looked like he had been hit by a car. He was a little stunned but managed to creep away home.
Cleveland Dam
1957-We rode our bikes everywhere. We even rode to Seattle. This is Cleveland Dam .It took all day to get there and back from Marpole.
