In 1977 the owners of Seabreeze went on holiday and left Don and Rosie Nixon to babysit the Lodge.

So…,of course, Don and Rosemary hosted a neighbourhood party. (the neighbourhood was necessarily all of Hornby).

I couldn’t resist asking him if I could take his Photograph. He agreed. His wife told me, that on a recent trip to China, quite a few people wanted to take his picture and asked her to “get out of the way”!
