Just Married

This cute couple hired Helen Onorah to officiate and me to photograph their wedding on Tribune. That’s all! No relatives, no friends.

Kathi had to be there as a witness. They even asked her to video the event. Lots of guests did attend, however. When we turned around we saw that half the beach goers had come over to watch. Lots of clapping and cheering.

They’d brought a bottle of champagne to celebrate and shared it with us at the Lodge. A very nice uncomplicated and sweet wedding.

Harry Retires.

After 37 and a half years Harry Fearman unships the anchor.

From Annie:

He  kept it a total secret, the crew only knew on the last trip back to Hornby. I would have told you if I had been allowed. Aileen took the pictures.

Great Crew (except, of course, Al’s jokes)

Guest photographer Aileen Fearman

Thanks Harry for all those safe passages and for being such an easy going guy. The ferry is a natural extension of island life so thanks for making it a fun and friendly space.

Happy Retirement.
