Wonder if this old tub is still afloat.

Let’s see now…over the last 37 years I’ve averaged three trips per year back to the mainland (I’m just guessing here) which means six big ferry trips per year or approximately 222 trips total.
Say we go to town about 16 times a year on the Hornby Denman Buckley Bay route. Which is like 64 excursions (32 listening to Al MacKay’s and Rusty Harrison’s jokes).
over the years that’s 2368 local trips.
So, all in all, I’ve sat behind the wheel waiting in 2580 lineups.
I’m afraid to tally up the costs of these journeys but I figure I’ve contributed my share to the purchase of those new ferries.
