One of our kids tried to sell a shelving unit consisting of 3 boaords – very small ones. When queried about the high price ($5 in 1983), he replied, “handmade on Hornby”. Maybe these fellas had the same pricing strategy. Nice memory and he is still wheeling and dealing.
